The Cosumnes Community Services District Board of Directors has unanimously elected Jaclyn Moreno as the new Board President to serve in 2022.
“I am honored to have been appointed Board President by my colleagues and I look forward to continuing to move our collective vision forward,” stated Moreno.
“In order to achieve our collective vision while we are living through this pandemic, it will be important to support the physical and mental healthcare of our frontline workers and ensure we maintain financial stability and accountability,” she added.
Moreno and her family have lived in the Elk Grove community for 20 years. She engages in a variety of community service projects and owns and operates a small business as a school psychologist supporting special education students in public schools.
Moreno says the District’s programs have had a profound impact on her two children who have blossomed because of their involvement in sports, arts, special events and more. “I’m looking forward to working together with the Board and staff to broaden access so that more residents can benefit from the District’s high-quality programs and vital services,” she said.
Moreno was elected to the District Board in 2018 and served as Vice President in 2021.
