    UPDATE 2/1/19: This event has been canceled for 2019. Get dressed up for a fun evening of dancing! The CSD Parks and Recreation Department is once again hosting the adults-only Annual Ball.     The Cosumnes CSD is committed to providing the information our community needs to get the most out of their athletic experience. The Family Sports Forum aims to connect industry experts with local families and facilitate discussion of today's hot topics. Dr. Alexandra Morrison, currently an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Sacramento State University, will be speaking on the development of working memory as it relates to youth sports. Working memory is the system our brain uses for temporarily storing information, and it is an important factor in our performance. Dr. Morrison is an expert in the field of cognitive psychology, and her presentation will provide best practices for parents and coaches. Free childcare will be provided to children age three and up.
