Cosumnes CSD Parks and Recreation is proud to offer an awesome lineup of summer day camps across Elk Grove!

During the summer break, it is essential that we give our youth meaningful and intentional interactions to promote their social and emotional learning and physical health. Programs include time to play outdoors, a chance to explore nature, exciting STEAM projects, swimming, and a chance to make new friends.

Sammy's Summer Club Kids' Edition

Kids’ Edition

  • For children currently enrolled in K - 5th grade
  • Indoor and outdoor activities including sports, games, art and crafts, special events.
Sammy's Summer Club Splash Edition

SPLASH Edition

  • For children ages 6 - 11
  • Includes activities and games focused on exploring nature and discovering the water.
  • Swim daily so don’t forget a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and water.
Sammy's Summer Club Sports Edition

Sports Edition

  • For children ages 7 - 13
  • Indoor/outdoor multi-sport camp focuses on improving skills through drills and alternative games.
Sammy's Summer Club Jr Guard Edition

Jr. Guard Edition

  • For children ages 11 - 15
  • Get prepared for a job in lifeguarding while building confidence and self-esteem.
  • Includes physical fitness, water skills, teamwork, emergency preparedness, and certification in a different American Red Cross skill each week.
Sammy's Summer Club Preschool Edition

Preschool Edition

  • For children age 3 - 5
  • Promotes and supports child’s skill level and social emotional development in a fun environment designed for preschoolers!
  • Child must be potty trained.
Sammy's Summer Club Teen Edition

Teen Edition

  • For students entering 6th to 8th grade
  • Located at The Grove Teen Center inside the Wackford Community and Aquatic Complex
  • Includes sports, games, art projects, contests, and more.

How to Register

Cosumnes CSD Parks & Recreation programs are available on our online registration site. All customers must create an account at this site to register for programs. 

Registration is also available by phone at 916-405-5600, weekdays between 8 am and 5 pm.
