Partners for Parks

Partners for Parks is a program where community members become the eyes and ears for the District. With over 90 parks and miles of streetscapes, it is a monumental challenge for staff to visit each park every day. Our partners frequent their neighborhood parks and report any problems or concerns. If you are interested, please sign up through our website.

Other Volunteer Opportunities

Build Bike Park Features at Elk Grove Bike Park
Help build jumps and work on other park features. Get dirty with manual labor! Individuals and groups are invited. Build projects are appropriate for teens and community service groups. Projects are scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays during June through September. For more information, follow the Elk Grove Bike Park on Facebook or contact Keith Coben.

Elk Grove Community Garden

The Elk Grove Community Garden is located south of Elk Grove Park, off of East Stockton Blvd. in Hampton Village, Elk Grove. It is not operated by the CSD. Volunteers are requested year-round.

The mission of the garden is to educate the general public as to the benefits of gardening, to provide individuals and families the opportunity to grow healthy food, to demonstrate and teach ecologically sound gardening and landscaping techniques and to provide public service through community involvement. Visit Elk Grove Community Garden website to learn more.
