Water Aerobics

Program Information
Water aerobics is quickly becoming the top adult exercise program in the nation. With ease of motion and limited resistance it provides a great healthy alternative to traditional impact aerobics. All classes are taught by trained and certified instructors.

  • Ages 16+
  • Aqua belts and barbells are provided
  • Participants need to bring their own water noodle
Class Size Limits
A minimum of 10 participants are needed for any class to be conducted. The maximum participation for a Deep Water class is 25 participants and 18 participants for a specialty Shallow Water class. Participants will be notified 1 business day in advance if a class is cancelled due to low enrollment. To avoid this, please register early!

Classes Offered

We offer a variety of classes that will meet your independent health and wellness needs. Deep Water classes are offered year-round while the shallow water classes are offered May through October.

This non-impact class offer participants the freedom of movement through water without touching or standing on the pool bottom. With a combination of exaggerated and quick movements it will give you a total body workout. This class is great for cardiovascular exercise or helping to treat muscle and bone injuries.

Holidays - No Class

No water aerobic classes will be scheduled on the following dates due to holidays, pool closures, or swim meets:
  • September 3, 2018 (Holiday)
  • October 8, 2018 (Holiday)
  • November 12, 2018 (Holiday)
  • November 22-24, 2018 (Holiday)
  • December 16-January 1, 2018 (Holiday Break)
