Fall Swim Clinic

​Program Information

Come experience recreational competitive swimming with quality coaches that will assist you with stroke development, technique, drills, and conditioning while promoting an enjoyable swimming atmosphere. This is not a learn-to-swim program but builds upon the philosophies of competitive recreation swimming. Open for existing and new swimmers interested in trying the swim team experience.

*Registration for this program is limited. Please look at the Late Fall Swim Clinic or Winter Swim Clinics for opportunity to participate.
Competitive Swim Program
  • Ages 4-18
  • Wackford Aquatic Complex
  • Coaches: Elk Grove Piranhas led by Brenda Smart


  • White & White/Blue Groups: Swim 25 yards unassisted without stopping 
  • Blue Group: Swim 50 yards unassisted without stopping, demonstrate all 4 competitive strokes 
  • Gold & Blue/Gold Groups: Swim a 100-yard IM unassisted without stopping 
  • Gold/High School Group: Swim a 100-yard IM unassisted without stopping or on a High School Swim Team 
  • Sprint Group: 50 yards Freestyle – Girls: 28.50 and Boys: 25.50

Monday - Friday
August 28 - November 3
No class 9/4,10/9, 10/31

White Group

This entry level group introduces all strokes and learns the basics of stroke development.
6 pm - 6:45 pm

Blue Group

For intermediate swimmers working on improving stroke technique and conditioning to achieve strength and speed.
6:45 pm - 7:45 pm

Gold Group

For more advanced swimmers mastering technical swimming and building endurance, strength, and speed.
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Sprint Group

For elite swimmers wanting to experience competitive USA workouts and meets. This is a spring training program. Focus is on events 200 yards or less.
6:30 pm - 7:45 pm

Late Fall Program

Monday - Friday
October 10 - November 3
No class 10/31

White/Blue Group

For entry level to intermediate swimmers introducing all strokes and working on improving stroke technique.
5:15 pm - 6 pm

Blue/Gold Group

For intermediate to advanced swimmers working on developing solid swimming habits, and increasing endurance and speed.
4:15 pm - 5:15 pm
