SCHOOL VISITS

The Cosumnes CSD Fire Department would love to bring fire safety education to your classroom! Teachers and child care centers serving preschool and school-age children are encouraged to book a school visit once a year. Public education commitments, such as school visits, are coordinated around the Department’s daily training schedule. In most cases, crews perform school visits while in service. As such, they may be called away in the event of an emergency. Most school visits last roughly an hour, and include a look at the many parts of a fire engine, and a fire safety presentation.
