KID CENTRAL

Kid Central is a recreation enrichment program for children ages 5-12, and entering grades K – 6. We offer three fun programs:
- Kid Central Before & After School Program is offered on or near elementary school campuses in the EGUSD.
- Kid Central Off Track Camp is a day camp program for students who are off track or on traditional breaks from school.
- Kid Central Summer Camp is located at the Youth Center in Elk Grove Regional Park and operates during peak summer months.

Registration Information Initial registration for all Kid Central programs must be completed in person at one of the CSD's three registration locations (Wackford Community Complex, Parks Main Office, or Laguna Town Hall). The registration packet, which includes a current Emergency Form, Registration Contract, and Parent Handbook, takes approximately 30 minutes to read through and complete. An annual registration fee is due at the time of initial registration and full payment is required for each session your child will attend. Registration for each session must be completed at least on business day prior to attendance.
Kid Central Before and After School Kid Central Before and After School Program is a recreation enrichment program located on or near elementary school campuses. The program offers structured fun, in a recreational environment. Daily activities include indoor and outdoor games, art and crafts, sports, fun clubs, homework time and time for free choice activities.
Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday
After School: Operates from school dismissal time to 6:00 pm
Before school: Operates from 7am to school start time (Before school program available at Markofer and Stone Lake)
Closed holidays and observed holidays.

Follows year round school calendar. Located directly behind school, at Johnson Park Recreation Center, (3570 Marsh Point Drive.)

Follows modified traditional calendar. Located on campus. - Elk Grove Elementary

Kid Central Off Track CampKid Central Off Track Camp is a day camp program for children who are off-track or on traditional breaks from school. This program offers tons of fun! Staff provide rewarding activities daily including arts and crafts, sports and games, cooking projects, science experiments, nature walks, free choice time, and cool clubs! In addition, we host a special event each week based on our session theme. Past events have included: a Luau, Hoe-Down Dance Party, Kids’ Art Exhibit, and Mini-Olympics!

Kid Central Summer Camp Kid Central Summer Camp is a day camp program that is operated during the peak summer months (approximately June through August) for children who are off-track or on traditional breaks from school. Summer Camp offers daily swimming at the Jerry Fox Swimming Pool (in Elk Grove Park,) weekly field trips (optional), fun themed events and activities, and an opportunity to make new friends! Summer Camp offers weekly registration, and includes arts and crafts, sports and games, cooking projects, science experiments, nature walks, free choice time, and cool clubs and challenges! We also host a super special event each week based on our session theme!
