PUBLIC EDUCATION
Fire and life safety starts with you! The Public Education Division of the Cosumnes CSD Fire Department aims to educate residents to prevent fires and injuries before they occur. The Public Education Division is housed in the Fire Prevention Division and overseen by the Fire Marshal. Public education staff schedules on-duty appearances by Cosumnes CSD Fire Department personnel and apparatus, as well as station tours, and other services. Public education staff presents fire and life safety lessons to community groups of all ages, hosts informational booths at community events and works with other local agencies to promote the safety of our residents.
