FIREFIGHTER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Firefighter Internship Program is a collaborative effort between Cosumnes River College's Co-op Work Experience Education Program and the Cosumnes Community Servces District Fire Department. CRC and Cosumnes Fire have been partners since 1987. The program is designed for students who desire a real-world opportunity to apply knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to an internship site. It also includes a required weekly career management class, Fire Technology Work Experience 498. This course provides an opportunity for students to learn more about their chosen career, develop confidence, and obtain valuable information on professional development.
