Activity Scholarships through the Cosumnes Recreation Opportunity Fund
The Cosumnes Recreation Opportunity Fund grants assistance for Elk Grove residents to participate in recreation activities offered by the Cosumnes CSD Parks and Recreation Department. This program gives children and adults in need, lifelong learning experiences that promote healthy lifestyles and its success depends on continuous fundraising efforts through individual donations and events.
Tax deductible donations to the Cosumnes Recreation Opportunity Fund are also accepted year-round. It’s easy to contribute. Gifts for Tomorrow
We experience many milestones in our lives and some deserve special recognition. The Cosumnes Legacy Foundation now offers ways for you to memorialize a person or event and contribute to your community with the donation of “Gifts for Tomorrow.” It’s an excellent way to honor individuals, businesses, and community clubs, groups, and organizations. Your gift will improve the high quality park facilities that make Elk Grove a wonderful place to live.
With your donation, you can beautify a park through a tree planting, enhance a playground with play features, and increase the appeal of a park by installing shade structures, benches, picnic tables, drinking fountains, or even dog waste stations. Also available are special enhancements that include volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, bocce ball courts, and sport field and golf course amenities. Opportunities to fund these and other amenities are available in parks throughout Elk Grove via the “Gifts for Tomorrow” program.
