Derrick Ingram has been working hard for the last 16 years to keep parks, golf courses and sports fields safe and beautiful for the community. Derrick started out working at Southgate Parks and Recreation for 8 years before coming to Cosumnes CSD in 2013.
Starting out part-time, Derrick was brought on as a full-time Park Maintenance Worker to take care of Hal Bartholomew Sports Park for the past 4 years. “On the weekends, this whole park is full. It’s a lot of work to get it ready for everyone,” says Derrick of the 46-acre Sports Complex off Bruceville Road and Whitelock Parkway.
When not working to get recreation centers ready for play, Derrick enjoys spending time with his wife of 20 years, Tasha, and his three sons, Derrick Jr., Dylon and Delano. When asked about his favorite pastime, Derrick says, “I love fishing and going camping. I like getting outdoors and enjoying the fresh air.”
Derrick Ingram is a valued asset to the Park Operations family and it is our pleasure to recognize him in this month's Employee Spotlight.
