Cosumnes CSD provides adapted and inclusive recreation with the Recreation ADventures (RAD) program. This program provides recreation opportunities for people with disabilities through both adaptive and inclusive recreation programs. Participants are encouraged to explore programs in a safe and fun environment while learning a new skill, improving their physical fitness, and making new friends along the way.

RAD Dance for Fitness
Age 18+ Come shake it at Dance for Fitness every Wednesday from 12:45-1:45. Learn different styles of dance & basic choreography in this high-energy class through structured and free movement exercises. Location: Elk Grove Park Pavilion Time: Wednesday 12:45-1:45 PM Cost: $2 per class

Come check out RAD for a variety of fun activities including arts and crafts, pool & ping pong,
board games, card games, basketball, soccer, group games, and so much more! Location: Wackford Complex Gym & Teen Center Time: Friday 9:30-11:00 AM Cost: $2 per class
RAD Aquatic Fitness
Burn calories and tone muscles while getting some fresh air. The water offers more resistance than dry-land workouts, prevents the body from overheating, and is less demanding on the joints.
Participants must feel comfortable in deep water for the 'deep pool' classes.

Adaptive Swim Lessons
Designed for children, teens, and adults, participants will receive 1-on-1 instruction at their own level with an experienced instructor.
